"Gunther"
This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
7/29/01 - Gunther is an 8 month old, very large boxer boy. He will be a year old November 6th. Gunther has lived with children and is very good with other dogs. We don't know how he is with cats. Gunther is crate trained, housebroken, up to date on shots, neutered and on heartworm preventative.
He is a very sweet boy. Gunther was surrendered to rescue because his owner did not have enough time for a young boxer. We would like Gunther to go to a home where he won't be home very long each day. A fence would be a plus because he is TERRIBLE on leash. Gunther knows basic commands but typical of a young boxer, he has selective hearing :) We will update you more about Gunther when we get to know him better
