"Herschel"

• 8/08/01 - Herschel is coming back to rescue again. The cat he has lived with for the past 2 months is not happy with him chasing him around. Our hearts are broken for Herschel. He loves his boxer sister, a 9 yr. old female. He is great with kids of all ages. He is in need of a home that doesn't mind him sleeping on the bed. He is looking for affection and loves to be loved all day. He enjoys a daily walk and can be left alone in the day and is a very good boy. He is not destructive and is housebroken. He has lived with cats before but they need to be used to a dog chasing them. He is a great dog, he is in need of his FINAL home. Please help Herschel. He is a flashy fawn male cropped and docked and is 5 yrs old.

• 5/23/01 - Herschel is coming back into rescue because he may have some sep. anxiety. He is currently living with a single working individual in a townhouse. We feel he needs a family where there are more people around and he would be best with a female dog. When Herschel was dumped at the local shelter he was left with his sister with whom he spent his whole life. We put him into foster with a family that worked with 3 boxers and a cat and he did great. Herschel needs a home where he can go to work with or an at home working person. A home where he will have more time spent with him. He is greatly loved but the home feels he needs more attention. He is great with kids of all ages but feel due to his size he may do best with older ones. Herschel is 5 and a gorgeous cropped and docked male boxer. He is a very sweet and loving dog.
  
• 1/29/01 - Here is Herschel a gorgeous 5yr old fawn male boxer He is cropped and docked and N. He is in foster with 3 dogs and 3cats and is doing great. He is a big boy and can be intimidating. He is 66lbs and needs at least 10 more. 
  
  He loves toys and attention and is very well behaved. He was great with my 10 yr. old and 7 yr old. but my 3 yr. old was a bit much for him,  Herschel was fine with him.  He would not stop kissing my daughter, he is very sweet. He is housebroken and a sweetie. 
  
  He is one great looking boxer.  He is strong as an ox and should go with boxer experienced owners and someone that likes to walk or run. If you can make up for his last 5yrs, please complete an online application and email the contact person listed below.
