Hobo

Adopted 5/31/02

2/15/02 - Hobo is a handsome young boxer about 1.5 yrs old with an excellent disposition. He is great around other dogs, although he seems to dislike cats. Hobo came into rescue as a stray and was quite thin, but is now probably pushing 65 pounds.  He is super-affectionate towards all the people he has met and loves to lick your face. Although he is OK on the leash, he doesn't seem to have much experience with leash walking.  He does know "sit" as a command and will come to you when called with a whistle, but doesn't know any other commands.  He craves attention from his foster dad, enjoys being scratched and rubbed, and also loves to romp around the house with the resident female boxer.  The dogs have become great friends, although Hobo is the boss (his foster sister is a very submissive female boxer).  There were a few housebreaking accidents in  the house at first, but as long as he is kept on a regular schedule he is fine. Since we have no background history, Hobo will need to go to a home without young children. Hobo is great fun, and will be an excellent addition to a loving home.
