Follow Up: Duppy

12/24/02
Hello everyone,
This is Kyla, Duppy's new sister. It's Christmas Eve, and Duppy and my whole family are getting in the Christmas mood. Duppy is being so wonderful, he is truly OUR Christmas miracle. After losing our last adopted boxer, we didn't think any other dog could live up to her standards. Oh! We were wrong! Duppy has been the best dog we could ask for. His last owners did a wonderful job training and loving him. They even sent us a Christmas card expressing how much they missed their Duppy Wuppy Puppy! We hope to stay close to his former owners and have them become part of our family, just as much as our last dog's owner did.

Duppy has now been in our household for a little more then two weeks, and he's only brought us joy. He sits, stays, and gives love whenever you ask (and even when you don't!). Other than a few "counter surfing" incidents, he's been a perfect angel. He has been great company to my grandmother who lives with my family. He also tried to be a doctor when my family came down with an icky 24 bug. He layed with us, and gave us lots of kisses when we needed it. We also think Duppy has the mind set. or body image, of a little lap dog, because whenever this 70 pound baby spots an empty lap, he'll be sure to fill it up as quick as he can!

From myself, and the rest of my family, we would like to give a big thanks to the Northeastern Boxer Rescue for helping to bring this wonderful dog to us and letting us have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful and caring organization. We hope all the dogs find their happy Forever Homes as soon as possible, so that everyone can know how great it is to give these dogs a second chance at a happy healthy life.

Merry Christmas to all!!!
Kyla, Len, Barney, Jenny, and of course...DUPPY!
