Follow Up:  Bandit

Hi. This is our latest update on Bandit. Since we adopted her on 1-1-2002 we have had lots of fun with her. She is so full of life and love. She has had a problem with her ears. She was scratching away at them to the point in which they began to bleed. We took her to our vet and found out that the scratching is caused by a food allergy. We have since changed her diet and she is on medication to clear up the infection. She is doing much better and has not scratched for a week.

Bandit likes a life of leisure. She likes to sleep on the sofa or our bed when she is alone in the house. Whenever Karl or I go out we let her have the run of the house. When we come home she jumps off the bed and starts kissing and wagging her tail. Bandit is a good dog. She gets exited whenever she meets someone new and jumps all over them and wants to play. We are slowly teaching her not to do this. once she gets used to you she will come right up to you and either give you a kiss or her paw. Her favorite thing to do with me is cuddle up at night and put her head on my lap.

Now that the warm weather is coming we will be taking Bandit for walks. She loves to walk and could go all day if you let her. Bandits only bad trait is she hates cats. She will bark incessantly or go after one when she sees one. For this reason we use a harness when we walk her. We got her one of those with the fuzzies on it. This gives us better control over her.

We both Love Bandit very ,very much and cannot imagine our lives without her. When anyone asks if we have children we answer yes. We do not have children but we consider Bandit our child. She brings both of us much Love and Happiness.

To all of you at Boxer Rescue, Happy New Year. Our year is going well . We have a new friend in our home by the name of Bandit. We got Bandit from Boxer Rescue on January 1 2002. We cannot understand why there was no interest in this dog. Bandit is such a cute, lovable dog. She enjoys giving and receiving lots of attention. We love Bandit and we are going to keep her.

Although we have only had her for 3 short weeks, we can't imagine not having Bandit with us. She has won our hearts and our love. Bandit enjoys playing and lots of affection. She has been getting lots of hugs, kisses and treats. She enjoys getting her tummy rubbed and an all over petting. Bandit is happy and healthy and has found a permanent home. We decided to keep her name, Bandit, because that was the name she was used to. Bandit is 70lbs. of pure love!

Thank you to Boxer Rescue for finding and rescuing Bandit and to her foster home for training her and taking care of her. Without you, we would never have found Bandit.

Love, kisses and hugs from all of us.

Karl, Rosemarie and Bandit Janesky
