Follow Up: To-Fu (formerly Georgett)

To-Fu is doing well. She is no longer spooked by the garage door opener and can even handle the vacuum cleaner. She sleeps either on the sofa (we decided to allow it since she is used to the practice) but often prefers her cedar bed in Carina's room. She is beginning to understand the back yard belongs to her. She saw her first deer a few days ago, but did not object to them the same way she does squirrels.

She is very musical. She use to run from the piano when Carina practices, but she sits next to it now. When the flute is played, she yodels like a coyote! She also yodels when Carina's alarm clock goes off.

She has had a fair number of accidents, mostly urinating. We attribute it to an adjustment in schedule and her fascination with exploring her new back yard. She becomes so busy looking around she forgets to sniff for a suitable spot to eliminate. By then we have to take her back inside, and she misses the opportunity. We try to take her out 5-6 times per day. When we got home today she had thrown up her breakfast, so we are keeping an eye on her. She may have caught a cold from being walked in the rain this weekend. We have a raincoat on order for her.

She is totally submissive and allows Carina to dress her up. Since it is getting colder outside, she will be sporting some of Carina's old coats.

Thanks again,

Pete, Anna, Carina and To-Fu
