Up: Zoe (Now Mia)
While away on a business trip (chatting about my Evander, of course) a coworker told me about your website. Upon my return I logged on. Thrilled, called my family members over to view all the sweet faces that need a home. My husband said "Guess you read the paper today." I hadn't. He then showed me an article about NBR. This to me was fate. I immediately filled out an application. Within a few days we were contacted, had a home visit and approved:)
In comes Mia (formally Zoe). Because we were a family with 2 teenage boys, an active male boxer and 2 very prissy cats; Dawn thought we would be a suitable family for one of the female puppies that were available. My boys were THRILLED! We waited a few weeks until she was ready and on 8-23 we adopted Miss Mia-Our little Princess!
I can go on and on with stories of Mia. She is a JOY! The perfect sister for Evander and his best friend. She rules the roost. She's a vocal, energetic, bold, loving, sweet kisser. Loves her brothers, Mommy, Daddy...even the cats (though they don't share the same love).
THANK YOU NBR for completing our family and becoming our "friend."
All our love...always,
Pam, Ken, Kenny, Nicalis, Evander and Mia |
