Happy Beginnings and Follow up:

Here are pictures of our three dogs, two boxers adopted from NBR.

Daisy (fawn colored) was adopted from Gillian at King of Prussia Boxer Rescue in October 2001. She was approximately 4 years old when we received her and very well trained with quite a array of tricks. She was purchased at a pet store for $1200 but had separation anxiety issues.

Rufus (darker colored with more white on chest) was fostered from a puppy mill rescue in New Jersey and we received her from Dawn Karam of Scranton Boxer Rescue in January 2002. He is approximately 6-7 years of age and had not been out of his crate for any extended period of time his entire life. He had scars from where his fur was rubbed off from the cage and his teeth are also worn down to just nubs. He could not walk up or down steps. He has made an amazing recovery!! Rufus gets along very well with the other two dogs and three cats, and has been working with a pet psychologist on becoming a more friendly and confident animal.

Koho (the black and white boxer mix) was adopted from the Chester County SPCA in January 1999.
