Dear Boxer rescue,
$WHBRRYU TRHBNGY$%^&$%& ERTTG%$^----maybe i should let my mommy type!!!

I just wanted to give all my other four legged friends some hope in finding a home as bestest as mine. I was stuck in a cage somewhere up in Pennsylvania when my guardian angel Dawn Karim (gkarim18@aol.com) came to my rescue. i knew i'd find a home soon. Somewhere in New York City there was a girl looking for a dog to love. After all the bad things that happened there in September she was ready to go and rescue a puppy. Now, i'm no puppy , but i can hold my own in the park and i play a mean game of soccer with a diet coke bottle. (she taught me how to play) So she told me she spent hours filling out the application forms and searching through all the pictures at night when she got home from work. She tried and tried for other dogs but with no luck. But thank goodness for me she never gave up. One day, Dawn called her and said that they had the perfect dog for her who had no where else to go. Dawn told my mommy to be that i was a little older but would be great for her apartment in the big city. I don't bark much-well i didn't at first (that was before i met my little brother!!) So in two days I was out of the cage and on the way to a big city to meet my new mommy. I had a bath, brushed my teeth and ate a good breakfast. I had on my new leash and collar too. WOW- we came to a great big building that had a guy outside that held the door open for us and the sign outside said HOTEL. (i bet ya didn't know i could read!!) They like dogs at this place and let people traveling around bring their dogs into the rooms and stuff. This big city is a pretty dog friendly place so far. So i'm hangin out in the lobby waiting for my new mom when this really cool girl walks in with her brother..
It was love at first sight! She came over and gave me a big hug and I have to admit i was a little scared at first. I'd been moved around a lot in my life but Dawn said it would be OK. They signed a whole bunch of papers and the next thing I know I'm walking down the street with my mommy and we head to the park where I meet a whole lot of new friends. There's a big fence, a huge water bowl and lots of toys! After a while we head home. My new home. I jump up onto the couch and curl myself up and take a nap....It's pretty stressful moving and i needed a break. My mommy thought i was sad but i just needed a little adjustment time. She spent a lot of time with me helping out and soon I knew I was home for good. That very next weekend we took a trip out to meet my grandma and my uncles and my baby brother, another boxer just like me. Boy did they love me, my grandma gave me tons of hugs and toys and my brother and i played around all afternoon without one fight. My grandma has a big backyard and big house with stairs and lots of comfy couches and sunlight. They call it Suburbia- I call it paradise! They have a lot of really huge dog runs out there and i love riding in the car with the windows open and the radio blasting. And my little brother taught me how to bark when someone comes to the door-see ya can teach an old dog new tricks!!
So just to let you all know, I"m doing great and I just wanted to thank everyone at Boxer Rescue for caring about me when nobody else wanted to. For cleaning me up and loving me when i didn't look so good and for finding me a great mom.

Thanks for giving me the rest of my life!!!
and p.s. i'm trying to talk my mom and grandma into become a foster mom for some of my friends still waiting for their homes!!!
