Follow Up: Edelweiss 

Last June I had the opportunity of visiting Edelweiss (now Edy) in Newport RI. 

Edy is shown here with her 2 brother boxers. She is the pretty white female in the picture. 

She was one of the many dogs we took out of a PA kennel that were there for over a yr. after the owner was raided by the ATF and found over 30 boxers roaming the property. The owners were made to remove them and they ended up at a kennel near me and after a yr. of boarding them she could no longer pay the fees and asked rescue to help. 

Edy is being lovingly taken care of by Scott and Amy MacDonald of Newport RI and she works at the Gourmet Dog in Newport, RI. It was so great to see her and see how well loved she is. Hats off to the MacDonalds and a big thanks from boxerrescue. In the picture (left to right) is Dawn Karam of Scranton boxerrescue with Scott and Amy MacDonald.
