"Jake"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 11/26/00 - Hi my name is Jake. I am a 4 year old boxer and my birthday is August 30th. My owner loved me very much but had to move and unfortunately could not take me with him. I am up to date on my shots and I will be neutered next week. I like to play with my toys, especially my slightly deflated basketball. I like people especially children, I love to eat apples and I'm always wiggling my butt. I am completely housebroken and crate trained but I would prefer not to be in a crate for long periods of time. I walk well on a leash but I'm a typical boxer and I don't like cold weather. I'd like to be friends with other dogs, as long as they're girls and although my previous owner didn't have any cats, my foster home does and all I want to do is play with them but I don't understand why they don't like me. Maybe it's because I'm a big boy weighing 75lbs so I guess they need to get to know me better. Then they'll see that I wouldn't hurt a flea!
