"Kane"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 6/28/01 - Kane is a 1 year old male Boxer that is as cute as they come. He was dropped off at an animal shelter because his family had "no time" for him. As we do with all our rescues, we had him neutered, updated his inoculations, had him dewormed, and checked for heartworm which was negative. We don't know much about him yet, but he is definitely very sweet. Kane rode great in the car, is good in a crate, and appears to be OK with cats and other dogs. He is very strong and pulls hard on a leash, but this can be corrected easily. We will report more after he gets settled in his foster home..
