"
Keeper"
This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or
family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs
page.
- 1/7/01 -
Keeper's family had another baby and feels there is no room for the dog. He
loves children, is well behaved, and housebroken.
- 11/16/00 - Keeper is an
18 month old flashy fawn neutered male. He has natural ears and a docked
tail. His owners are about to have their third baby and feel they have no
room left for him. He is an active dog who likes kids and other dogs (We do
not know about cats since he has never met one).
Keeper has been diagnosed with hip displaysia. We have consulted an
orthopedic specialist. He feels Keeper should be placed in a home where he
would be leashed walked and not have the free run of a large backyard. He is
not sure whether Keeper will need surgical treatment later in life. He is
too young and not uncomfortable enough to make any decisions at this
time.
