"Kelsey"
5/13/01 - If you want the "perfect" dog...look no further..... Kelsey is remarkable. She has made herself very comfortable in my home, (3 kids & 3 other dogs!) and has taken everything in stride. She is calm, loving, and sweet. What is absolutely amazing is that considering Kelsey's age, she has no signs of arthritis, in fact she is in better shape than most dogs I've seen younger than her! Kelsey is the perfect companion. She is obedience trained, walks very well on leash, and completely housebroken. Kelsey likes nothing better than to snuggle. Kelsey would do best in a household with older children, she's a mellow girl and would prefer a calmer household. Calm does not mean inactive though!! She loves to go for walks. Kelsey would be great for a first time boxer owner, she is WONDERFUL!! Please don't let Kelsey's age deter you from adopting this precious girl.
5/11/01 - Kelsey is an 8.5 year old female, cropped and docked. Kelsey is up to date on shots and will be spayed shortly. One of Kelsey's elderly owners had a stroke and the other could no longer care for her properly. The owner brought her to a shelter that contacted us. Kelsey is very disoriented right now, having been uprooted from the only family she's ever known. Considering everything this poor girl has been through, she's very sweet and loving. Kelsey is housebroken, energetic for her age, has been through obedience training, and a very wiggly girl :)
