"Leroy"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 7/21/01 -  Leroy Brown is a 6 month old Boxer au natural. He has natural ears and a long tail, and when you look at Leroy he is so adorable that it makes you wonder why anyone would bother to cut them off. You may or may not already know that cropping ears and docking tails is banned  in a number of countries including Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, and Germany where the breed originated.

  Leroy is good with other dogs, great with cats, and lived amicably with a 1 year old child. He also walks well on a leash, and loves everyone he meets. He is also crate trained.

  Leroy broke his right elbow when he was 3 months old and required orthopedic surgery to save his leg. The good samaritans that took him in would have loved to keep him, but they live in a "no pet" apartment. His leg has been repaired, and he has no restrictions on his activity.

  Leroy has been neutered and is waiting for his new family to adopt him. Please complete the Adoption Application  if you are interested in adopting this charming Boxer puppy.
