4/22/02 - Maverick is a 3 year old flashy brindle boy. He was surrendered to rescue when his owner met a new woman who did not like dogs. When Maverick came to rescue he was painfully thin. It was then discovered he has a condition called megaesophagus. For this reason Maverick has to be fed with his front paws on a table or stand. After proper feeding he has filled out and is looking good. Maverick loves kids and other dogs. He is such a sweet dog who is looking for a caring person to take him in.
