Mia

Adopted 6/11/02
5/23/02 - Mia spent the day here with me and was a delight. She is very protective and guards her home well. She is a snorter, and when she is nervous will give a little growl. My foster Mom, Lisa, was afraid to introduce her dogs to Mia when she made that noise. I introduced her slowly to my 6yr old male, Jake, and she mounted him, growled at him and that was it. She let him know she is the boss and was fine and laid in the kitchen with him for quite a while. She loves to be petted. She is very gentle and calm. She is very sweet and a dear to be around. She is a dominant female but I think if the male does not mind her being the boss then another dog will be fine. She loves everyone.
5/21/02 - Mia is a 3 year old, female, white boxer that is fantastic with everyone she meets. She just kisses and snuggles all day long. She loves the car and is great driving around all day with her foster Mom. Everyone comes out to say hello to this cute girl. She had lived with a boxer and a shih tzu in her prior home but for some reason does not like the male dogs in her new foster home. She wants to be the queen bee, so if you have a home without other dogs please let us know. Her owners left the country and sold the little dog at the yard sale, the male boxer is boarded, and Mia is in a foster home. She will be spayed in a few days and has all of her shots and is in tip top shape. She is a strong girl and walks well with a harness. She would love a fenced yard. She is good with kids and is a delight to be around. Please help Mia.
