This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog
and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available
Dogs page.

- 6/29/01 - Well, I am still
here at the kennel. The people that work here love me very much and are
very good to me, but I was hoping to be in someone's house laying on a couch
by now. It really stinks being a "mix", I have to compete with
all these pure breeds:( It's really tough. I bet if you came to
meet me, you would see what a big goofy lug I really am. Although I love
kids, I am too big and clumsy to live with little ones. I weigh 80
lbs, but sometimes feel as light as a feather. All I can tell you is
that I am as sweet as they get, and with a little obedience training, I will
be one BIG MUSHY FABULOUS DOG!

A volunteer from a NJ Animal Shelter called us
regarding an owner surrendered Boxer that is neutered, house
trained, good with other dogs & cats, and kids. He was left tied outside
almost 24/7. She says he has an incredible temperament,
and is very calm and friendly. He is also quite large, and very handsome-
as you can see. He has just arrived today, so we will have more to
tell as we get to know him. Oscar is unfortunately staying in the
kennel, due to lack of foster space, so if you feel he is right for you,
please let us know.
