Pilot
Adopted 09/30/02

08/31/02 - Pilot is back with us and is in urgent need of a foster home without other dogs!

Sadly, Pilot is being returned to rescue because he has proven to be intolerant of other dogs. On the other hand, he is a sweetheart and loves to be around people. He will follow your every move, sit with you on the couch, and drown you with kisses.

Pilot is house broken and is excellent by himself for up to 8 or 9 hours....and does not chew. His eating habits are a little finicky and he is not a "junk food" eater, which is good as he could probably stand to lose about 5 or so pounds (he's 88 pounds now). Pilot will bark when strangers approach the door, but is responsive to stop commands.

The perfect home for Pilot would be a single man or couple without children or with slightly older children. Pilot does not like other dogs or animals at all. This cannot be stressed enough. He is very territorial of his space when it comes to animals (so a securely fenced yard is a must), but family and friends are always welcome. Loyalty and protectiveness are perfect words for Pilot, and he is deserving of a home that can provide him the same.

Adopted 6/5/02

5/23/02 - Pilot is a fawn male boxer with natural ears and a docked tail. He is 3 and a half years old and is great with kids. He is a big boy (around 85lbs) and loves to lay on the sofa. He was living with a female boxer that is very hyper and wont leave him alone, and they were fighting. We would like Pilot to go with an easy going older dog or no dog so that it wont happen again. He is a sweet, gentle giant. He is living with a 7yr old girl and older kids.
