4/25/02 - Princess is a fawn female with natural ears. She was wandering around a town in Westchester with a chain (the kind you tie dogs out with) around her neck. She was strolling in and out of a store. The store owner took her to a shelter so she would be safe. Princess has been in the shelter for several months now. She entertains the staff at the shelter with her cute antics. She has such a great personality but has not been adopted because she is 6 to 7 years old.
The shelter has asked us to help find her a home. The first thing we did was have our veterinarian look at her. He sent out blood tests and took x-rays to make sure she was healthy. All her blood tests are normal. The only thing we found was arthritis in her hip and spine. Princess loves other dogs and would make a wonderful companion.
