This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
6/17/00 - Sadie is very sad looking because she knows that she is not wanted or loved. She is a 3 year old spayed fawn female. She has been living with a couple who are not Boxer people. They don't like it when Sadie gets excited when people visit - they are not used to the ways of Boxers.
She is flabby from the lack of exercise and is about ten pounds overweight as you can see from this picture. In her original home, she lived with another dog and they got along fine. Her present owners have kept her away from other dogs because they do not understand Boxers. When I visited Sadie, I brought Fraiser, my seven year old, and Sadie was bursting with excitement - she wanted to play. Sadie is good with older children and rides well in the car.
