"Sam"
This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog
and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available
Dogs page.
12/8/00 - We found a foster home for Sam! THANK YOU!!!!! We are now looking for a permanent home for him.

Sam is an 8 year old male cropped and
docked handsome fellow. He was a stray that was brought into the
shelter, so we do not know his story (if only they could could talk).
He is a very sweet lovable guy that is quite mellow. He walks very
well on a leash, knows "sit" and "paw". He seems
to just go with the flow.
Sam has some blood in his urine, and
feels the urgency to urinate when there is nothing left to come out.
He went to the vet today , was given some antibiotics, but the lab results
will not be back for a few days. One good piece of news is that the
x-rays showed no stones or blockage...so now we must wait to see if the
lab results show anything conclusive. It is possible that his
condition is caused by stress, for he was in the shelter for a almost a
week.
We will keep you posted on Sam's medical condition, until then
think about how great it would be to have this easy going guy around your
house and complete an online application!
