Sammy

ADOPTED 12/24/01  This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week trial period in its new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, the will be moved to the available dogs section.

• 12/8/01 - Sammy is a 1 yr.old male boxer that is cropped and docked.He is a flashy fawn male that is a bit thin but in good shape otherwise. He is N. and HW neg. and has all his shots. He is very loving and loves to be pet. He is great with kids, he was found in a school yard playground running around with the kids as a stray and was turned into a shelter. He is a great dog and is fine with other dogs. We don't know about cats. He can jump very high and if he has a fence it must be a high one or he may jump it. He wiggles like crazy. He is a fast runner and zips around the yard. He is in foster with a female cocker and is doing well. Sammy is a doll and is very well behaved and walks well on a leash.
