Sampson

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 12/11/01 -  Sampson is a 10 month old white neutered male boxer. He will be a big boy, he is 58 pounds now and is very thin. Plus he still has some growing to do being still a pup.

   

  Sampson was turned into a shelter for being "allergic to the cat" The

  shelter did a scraping and found his hair loss to be from demodectic mange.

   

  The previous owners stated that he was good with cats and children. He is

  being treated for the mange and a skin infection from it. We are still

  getting to know Sampson, but so far he has been very sweet and is being

  fostered in a home with children, cats and other dogs. We will update as we get to know him better.
