08/21/02- Star
is doing great in her new foster home. She is very good with the male boxer and loves to get
pet. She is starting to get used to being out of the shelter. She can be shy of men but if you let her come over to them she is fine and loves you to
death. She must have had a good life, she is very hand shy and not well
socialized. I called the tag (owner who took her to the shelter) on her to try and get more info to better place her and they
haven't called me back. Its very sad. We are getting her up to snuff and she gets better everyday.
8/05/02 - Star is a 2 year old, spayed, female boxer that is super sweet. She lived with an older woman that recently adopted a 12 year old boy that was abusing her. He was always hitting her and pulling her ears. They turned in Star to a PA shelter, and she is scared. She is super sweet to all at the shelter and would like to know why she is there. She hates going back in the kennel run. She is friendly with other dogs and is a real sweetie. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.
