9/06/01 - Stella came to us from a rural shelter in Western
Pennsylvania. She is honestly the lowest maintenance boxer I have ever seen! She is 4-5 years old, and her brindle coloring is so dark that she almost looks black, with a white chest. She is very petite, weighs 43 lbs, she is actually smaller than our 6 month old boxer puppy.
She is completely house trained and crate trained. She knows the basic sit, stay and come commands. She is the happiest when she can simply lay at your feet or in your lap. She is not a barker, she loves to be talked to and her tummy rubbed. I think she is just overjoyed to be in a HOUSE with a family that loves her.
Stella, is set to be spayed on the 11th and is updated on all shots
and on Heartgard preventative. She is getting along wonderfully with our male and female boxer. All three sleep with us at night with no problems!
(luckily we have a king size bed!) She is wonderful with people, we have not had her around children yet but she is not a jumper so she should be fine. We would prefer a home with children over 8 due to our lack of background on her. Please include as much info as possible in your application so we
can find the best home for this lucky lady!
