Tango

ADOPTED 2/18/02

01/28/02 - Tango has a very sad story to tell and hopes for a happy ending. Tango was found abandoned in an empty lot in Brooklyn.  When the animal control officer approached him inside the fence, Tango wiggled with anticipation.  He had heard the man approaching but could not see him. After getting tons of boxer kisses, the ACO started to walk away with Tango, and walked him right into the fence - head first.  Tango is blind.  He is a three year old, flashy, fawn boy who was just neutered and brought up to date on shots.  He is heartworm negative. How he wound up behind the fence in an abandoned lot is a mystery, and no one showed up to claim this sweet lost boy at the shelter, so he was released to our care. He is a doll. Tango likes dogs and cats.  He is good in the car and walks well on leash. He does fine in the crate and is housebroken.  We keep using the same tree, so he will know where to go when we walk. He is getting around the house a little better each time, and can even go up and down the stairs with a little help. He would do well in a home with another dog and fenced in yard. Please help find this lost little boy a forever home.
