6/1/01 - Tobi
is a wonderful fawn Boxer pup, 11 weeks old. We have been working with
him for the last few weeks and he's turned out to be a fast learner. He
is crate trained and 95% housebroken. He's very observant and cautious
of the word "NO". He will walk calmly on leash, but of course
this will need to be part of his on-going puppy obedience training. He
is a rambunctious Boxer puppy!! He is having a great time with my two
dogs! He does stand up for himself when the play gets rough. He is
the first one to greet you at the door-with that awesome Boxer WIGGLE!!
When its time for a Time-Out, he's happy to play in his crate with a tennis
ball or bone. Naps are one of his favorites, on your lap of
course. I
never thought I would use "patient" to describe a puppy, but Tobi
will sit
and wait for you to play with him. It is really something. He will
be a
great addition to a family with or without another dog, but I feel he is
showing a little dominance, not that it couldn't be curbed with enough TLC.
