"Tyson"
This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
10/16/01 - Tyson is a 3 year old flashy brindle boy. His owner brought him to a Veterinary Hospital and never came back for him. Under normal circumstances Tyson would have been brought to a shelter or would have been euthanized. The staff at the hospital fell in love with him and contacted Boxer Rescue. Tyson was picked up today and brought into rescue. Tyson is reportedly great with kids, dogs, and cats. He seemed to be a very sweet and mellow dog when I met him today. Tyson is very thin and need to gain at least 10 -15 pounds. He also has some skin problems (notice the balls spots on his feet) and will be looked at by our veterinarian this week.
