They make a great choice for families because this breed is not only loyal and happy, they’re sweet, silly, and super fun. They’re a bit weary of strangers but they’re not aggressive; they just want to protect their loved ones!

There are many different options to adopt a Boxer in Florida, so let’s break them down! To adopt in any of these places you need to be 21 years or older, live on your own, your current pets need to be vetted, and follow the adoption process to the letter. The adoption process requires you to fill in an application, which will be reviewed, then you’ll need to schedule a home visit, and finally you can find your perfect Boxer.

B0xer Rescue Angels

Boxer Rescue Angels offer dogs for adoption in these counties: Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota. Here’s the application and contact information to help you get started. The fees vary depending on the Boxer’s age:

  • 8 weeks to 12 months = $350
  • 13 months to 3 years = $300
  • 4 years to 6 years = $250
  • 7 years and up = $175
  • Boxer Mix of any age = $150

Boxer Aid and Rescue Coalition

Boxer Aid and Rescue Coalition places Boxers under adoption in the North Florida and South Georgia areas. Fill in the application and you can get the process started.

Adoption fees are as follows and they’re based on age:

  • 8 weeks to 12 months = $350
  • 13 months to 5 years = $300
  • 6 years and over = $200
  • Boxer mixes = $175

  • 7 months to 2 years = $290
  • 3 years to 6 years =$275
  • 7 years and older = $175
  • Mixed-breed dogs: $130
